This is an exhibition book that I designed for the reopening of the Ancient Bell Museum at the Big Bell Temple in Beijing.

Curving figures could be found in whole book to simulate sound waves diffusion, it’s a design to make readers to “look voices ” in visual way. The figures size is one fiftieth of real antique clock’s caliber in museum.

To provide vision and sense of touch to readers, this book shows rubbings of clock and local pictures in 50 percents of real clock size, raised inscription of antique clock. It also contains part mapping graph of clocks, therefore introduces true proportion of antique clocks to readers.

In a word, Ancient Charm with Jow is an antique clock museum in paper.
